Marbury High School Football Stadium is Complete!

Marbury High School Football Stadium in Autauga County, AlabamaConstruction of the new Marbury High School Football Stadium was completed in early August.  The final inspections were conducted by the State Building Commission on August 13th.  The facility was turned over to the school at that time.

Scoreboards, goalposts, and all of the other pieces and parts are currently being installed by the county in preparation for football this fall.  The inaugural football game will be held in this facility on August 26th.

Trinity Presbyterian School Awards Contract to Alfa Builders

Trinity Presbyterian School Classroom AdditionAlfa Builders submitted a proposal for construction services on a classroom expansion for Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, Alabama on July 27th.

After opening all proposals, Alfa Builders was the apparent low bidder.

The board of directors for the school met on August 3rd and voted to award the contract for construction to Alfa Builders at the recommendation of the architect, Goodwyn Mills & Cawood and the schools executive committee.

Construction will begin in late August and will initially involve the relocation of the elementary school playground.

Substantial completion of the project is slated for Summer 2011.

Groundbreaking for The Crossings of Pensacola

The official groundbreaking ceremony for this development was held on June 8th, 2010.  There were various members of the community in attendance as well as the leadership of the development team.

All in attendance were welcomed by members of the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce.  Each guest was presented with a packet of information about the development and was offered a variety of refreshments for their enjoyment.

During the ceremony, Herbert Scheuer welcomed each guest and took a moment to share the features of The Crossings with everyone.  Herbert then introduced the development team which included the various members of the ownership group as well as architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ownership group was then joined by Florida State Representative, Dave Murzin, behind the shovels to take some ground breaking photographs.

Unseasonably Low Temperatures Bring Unusual Construction Problems

Renovation of the Historic Dr. David Abernathy House is Complete

We are pleased to announce that we finished the renovations to this historic residence on Thursday, November 18th.

The City of Montgomery is in the process of completing their inspections to issue a Certificate of Occupancy.  Once this is obtained, the Alabama State University will have access to this facility.  It is intended to be used as a tourist attraction for those who are visiting this area and have an interest in historic civil rights destinations.

The Park at Homeplace is 100% Operational!!

As of November 3rd, the construction team of Alfa Builders and Multicon Construction have completed all interior punch list items for the Park at Homeplace multi-family project.  So at this point, Homecorp, the property manager, has the ability to rent 100% of the units to the general public in the Prattville, Alabama area.
