Trinity Presbyterian School has Occupied their New Classrooms and Library!!
As of late July, 2011, Trinity Presbyterian School has full use of their new elementary school library as well as their four new 5th grade classrooms!
Tami Shelley, the lower school principle, was very excited to get the new building! She feels like it will be an extremely beneficial piece to the educational puzzle for her students.
Grand Opening Reception Held at The Crossings at Nine Mile Road
On April 7th, 2001, the ribbon cutting and grand opening reception were held at the Crossings at Nine Mile Road (formerly known as the Crossings of Pensacola). The event was well attended by residents of the property, guests from the surrounding community, local dignitaries, as well as the owners and managers of the facility.
Local chamber of commerce members thanked everyone for coming and introduced Mike Goldner with Homecorp LLC. Homecorp is a member of the partnership that owns the facility, but they also are the property management company. Read the rest of this entry »
Exterior Masonry Installation Begins on Trinity Presbyterian Classroom Addition
The precast concrete pieces as well as the brick masonry have been delivered to Trinity Presbyterian School in recent days.
Our masonry installation crew began the installation of these exterior finish materials today.
Once the installation of these items is complete, the field crews will be able to wrap up the grading operations and give the new addition a more finished appearance. Read the rest of this entry »
The Structural Steel Framing is in Place for the Eclectic Family Health Center!
The steel framework for the new Eclectic Family Health Center was installed during the week of March 28 thru April 2. The metal building erection team worked diligently to complete the installation of the steel columns and beams in order to keep the project on schedule.
Lee Waid, field supervisor for Alfa Builders, Inc., and David Mullin, project architect for DLM Architects, Inc., worked together to expedite the metal building shop drawings submitted by OSI Building Systems. Read the rest of this entry »
New Location for Jim Massey Formal Wear coming to Sturbridge Shopping Center
Alfa Builders is putting the finishing touches on a new retail space for Jim Massey Formal Wear.
This location will be at Sturbridge Shopping Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
Jim Massey has been a leader in the dry cleaning and formal wear business in Montgomery since 1941.
Alfa Builders is proud to be a part of expanding the presence of Jim Massey Formal Wear in east Montgomery!
This new location will be open for business by April.
Foundation for Eclectic Family Health Center is Poured
The concrete slab for the Eclectic Family Health Center is being poured today.
The field crews worked hard to prepare the building pad for the pour even though we had quite a bit of rain last night.

Classroom Addition at Trinity Presbyterian School is Going Vertical
I am happy to report that the classroom addition at Trinity Presbyterian School is coming up out of the ground!
It was a tough winter with plenty of wet weather that unfortunately slowed field production.
However, the recent sunshine and dry conditions have allowed for some significant progress in recent weeks.
The CMU walls for the first floor are currently being installed and the steel structure for the second floor will soon follow.
With the first floor foundation work behind us, the field crews will be able to increase productivity with the goal of topping out the structure in March.
The Trinity Presbyterian School is located at 1700 East Trinity Boulevard in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Clubhouse at The Crossings of Opelika is Dried In!
The progress on the Crossings of Opelika site continues to move forward despite some rough weeks of weather.
The field crews have done an excellent job meeting scheduling milestones to keep the project on pace to finish this summer as desired.
In early January, the clubhouse reached the point of being dried in so that interior trades could begin their work.
The clubhouse as well as the first apartment building are expected to be ready for occupancy in April. The Crossings of Opelika is a luxury apartment home community located near the intersection of Fox Run Parkway and McCoy Road in Opelika, Alabama.
Docarmo’s Taekwondo Center is Open at Sturbridge Shopping Center
Congratulations to Docarmo’s Taekwondo Center which recently opened at Sturbridge Shopping Center in Montgomery, Alabama!
Alfa Builders recently finished out some tenant space for use by Ann Docarmo and her staff.
Ann is very excited to be in her new location on Taylor Road which has increased the visibility for her business and will hopefully continue to allow her to grow with the services she offers her clients.
Alfa Builders wants to take this opportunity to wish Ann and her staff all the best as they begin operations in this new location!
